Squab was very reactive and there was little cohesion between the different activities in the group.

Squab needed a full HR Outsource solution. By running a planning day, we were able to help the business owners map out what they wanted the business to look like. They recognised the benefits of bringing the different business areas together and being able to cross trade. But also realised staff disliked change so help was needed to bring about the new developments.
We helped Emlyn and Les to create a picture of their ideal business model and then identify the strengths of the staff to match this. Recognising the need for restructuring we helped them to communicate this effectively, backing it up with training and one to one sessions with key staff members. They identified there was too much duplication across the business, so determined appointing an office manager would not only help to streamline processes, but also free up the senior team to build on the business strategy. We helped them to find the right person who was a good fit for the business.
The business is more energised and effective. Staff are more motivated and feel part of the business, understanding goals and acquiring skills. Investment in personal development has enabled the team to be more decisive and freed up Emlyn and Les to drive the group forward.
