Learner Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

Understand when conflict can arise, and the benefits of early resolution
Recognise the financial, reputational and other risks to the organisation if conflict and disagreement are allowed to continue or escalate
Understand how to recognise conflict, disagreements and tensions and approach with a mediation mindset
Confidently recognise and address conflict situations, working towards solutions that avoid the need for formal processes, such as grievances
Know the formal procedures that can be applied when informal solutions haven’t achieved a resolution
