Course description

A lot of time at work is spent in meetings – this module will help ensure that it is time well-spent!

Managers will review whether a meeting is the right format to meet their objective and, if so, which type of meeting will be most appropriate. We will look at who should be in the meeting, the skills of an effective Chair or facilitator and some techniques to encourage participation and effective communication. 

Delegates will also consider how to prepare the agenda and structure the meeting, how to set ground rules for participation and how to ensure accurate minutes or notes are captured for effective follow up actions and next steps.
