Why this matters for your organisation

Menopause affects a significant proportion of the workforce, and creating a culture where employees feel informed and supported makes a real difference. When all employees, not just managers, understand the subject, it reduces stigma, strengthens working relationships, and helps ensure that nobody feels alone in their experience. This course gives your whole workforce the knowledge and confidence to play their part.

          About this course

Menopause awareness can help employees gain an understanding of this sensitive subject, whether they are personally affected or want to better support colleagues who may be. It is likely that some of your employees will experience symptoms at some stage, so it is important to create an awareness that brings your workforce together.

This session will help all employees understand the signs and symptoms of perimenopause and menopause and the potential impact in the workplace. It will provide a comprehensive overview of menopause, including its symptoms and the treatment options available.

By the end of this training, employees will feel knowledgeable about the impacts and confident in supporting colleagues experiencing menopause.

Throughout this course, we refer to those experiencing menopause as ‘women’. However, we explicitly acknowledge that menopause can also affect trans men, non-binary and intersex people who have a menstrual cycle or ovaries. Our aim is to be inclusive, while recognising that language in this area continues to evolve, and we seek never to generalise or diminish anyone’s personal experience.
