Course description

Following recent legislative changes, employers are required to take “all reasonable steps to proactively prevent harassment and sexual harassment in their workplace.

This short session is designed for organisations where employees have previously completed comprehensive Dignity at Work training, as a refresher training course, ideally delivered annually.

Rather than revisiting the legislation in detail, the workshop focuses on refreshing knowledge, exploring emerging workplace challenges, and reinforcing both individual and collective responsibility for maintaining a respectful, inclusive and psychologically safe working environment.

The session will also provide a valuable baseline level of awareness for colleagues who have joined the organisation since the previous programme of workshops, ensuring a consistent understanding of expected behaviours, reporting routes and organisational standards across the workforce.

Regularly regular refresher training will be one of the “reasonable steps” required by Employment Tribunals to evidence that you are working to prevent harassment and sexual harassment in your workplace.
