Course description

This essential workshop covers the legal aspects of Dignity at Work in a memorable and engaging manner.

This session is designed for the management team to learn collectively about the legal basis for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including the upcoming legislative changes to the Equality Act 2010 that strengthen the protections for workers against sexual harassment.

Providing a safe and open forum for discussion and debate, this session will guide the delegates through the exploration of a variety of case studies, considering what are acceptable and unacceptable behaviours in your organisation.

Delegates will agree how they will call out any inappropriate behaviours, agreeing when banter is no longer harmless, and how/when they should use formal processes to manage inappropriate behaviours.

Our experienced Trainer will facilitate the team to reach agreement on the actions they can take as individuals and as a team to develop a welcome, and inclusive culture, where all employees feel valued.

Providing this training will be one of the “reasonable steps” required by Employment Tribunals to evidence that you are working to prevent sexual harassment in your workplace.
