Course description
This module will cover how managers can resolve grievances informally, how to conduct a formal grievance hearing and the legal framework surrounding grievances, including the risks of failing to follow a comprehensive process.

Learner Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Recognise a grievance and when to use the Acas Disciplinary and Grievance Code of Practice
- Be able to confidently resolve grievances informally, when appropriate
- Confidently run a formal grievance investigation and associated meetings
- Prepare the required documentation correctly and know how to store it correctly
- Know the appeals process
