Working Mums Top Employer Awards 2014 at Soho Hotel London.
Basingstoke-based HR Consultancy, Reality HR, has won the Prestigious National Award, Talent Attraction category of the Working Mums Top Employer Awards 2014.
The announcement was made last night at a glittering ceremony at London’s Soho Hotel where guests were addressed by Wendy Hallett MBE, founder and Managing Director of Hallett Retail.
The Awards recognise employers of all kinds who are progressive in their flexible working practices and proactive in seeking to retain talented staff, particularly working parents who want to combine successful careers with being a parent. The Talent Attraction Award specifically focusses on organisations who are able to demonstrate that their recruitment process openly promotes flexible working and that they have robust monitoring processes in place in terms of the calibre of applicants they are attracting and retaining.
Of the eight categories in the Working Mums Awards, Reality HR were also shortlisted in the SME 1-25 employees category.
Understandably, Laura Davis, Managing Director of Reality HR, is delighted with the news which she sees in many ways as payback for the hard work she has put into building the company since its formation in 2004.
Laura developed the Reality HR Flexible Working Hour’s model giving all team members the flexibility to manage their working lives around their family commitments. The business has grown significantly over the years and provides an outsourced HR function to more than 70 clients across the South. Laura now has a team of 15 highly qualified and very loyal HR specialists who give above and beyond the call of duty, often dealing with client emergencies in the evenings or at weekends from home.
Laura commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award and I’m delighted for the team as well who demonstrate their extraordinary Talent in all the work they carry out for our clients. 2014 has been an amazing year for us to celebrate 10 years in business with moving offices earlier in the year, merging with Peritus HR and rebranding and taking on new recruits – winning this award really is the icing on the cake for us.”
